Pin Planner Changelog

Version history for this application only. For the website's own changelog, see the project's CHANGELOG.md.

v1.3.0 — current
  • Fixed: left/right pin names now display in full (PE5, PB12, VBAT, …) instead of being cut to a shortened "P…" label.
  • Fixed: Signal Name and Connection Name no longer overlap when both are shown — each pin now gets one grouped label with the connection sitting right after (top/bottom) or beside (left/right) the signal name.
  • Fixed: rotating the chip now keeps the grouped signal/connection labels readable and aligned at any angle — the text never turns vertical and the containers never drift from their pins.
  • Improved: mobile view decluttered — the Overview and Session collapse panels are removed from the mobile chip view (everything else is unchanged).
  • Improved: stronger Material 3 polish — layered elevation, refined cards/buttons/controls, focus rings, and better spacing/typography hierarchy, consistent with the O Solutions website.
v1.2.0 — 2026-08-08
  • Fixed: chip rotation now keeps every pin number, signal label, and connection label upright and readable at any angle — only the package itself rotates, never the text.
  • Fixed: this changelog now lives inside the app itself (this tab) instead of a separate website page.
  • Improved: mobile view simplified to chip + zoom/pan + a return-home button, with every editing control hidden and a clear "use Desktop" notice — replacing the previous collapsed-sidebar approach.
  • Improved: visual integration with the main website's design system (typography, spacing, cards, buttons) and the O Solutions logo now appears in the app itself.
v1.1.0
  • New: independent Connection Name field with its own on-chip toggle and color.
  • New: chip rotation (0/90/180/270° presets + free angle).
  • New: searchable Filter-by-Net-Name panel with refresh.
  • New: yellow conflict-suggestion chips (one or more per conflict).
  • Fixed: Signal Name labels overlapping in image exports when multiple optional fields were enabled.
  • Fixed: Connection Name is now included in every export option, matching Signal Name.
v1.0.0
  • Initial release: STM32H743ZIT6 LQFP144 pin planning, peripheral/signal assignment, conflict detection, favorites, notes, CSV/HTML/SVG/PNG export, project save/load, and a searchable pin explorer.
